When I came in on crutches a couple months ago the same Rathdowne Street deli owner asked, "What happened to you? Fall off your sheila?"
I don't go there much anymore.

The bloke who runs that deli is an out and out genius. The "Wall of Fame" corkboard is one of the greatest examples of Po-Mo installation art in the last ten years. Charts the distastrous nature of his love life with pathos and transparency. The great ones are always misunderstood; Van Gogh, Frida Kahlo, Mark Rothko and the guy from the Deli. Nick xx.
